Academic Career Panel
Tuesday, July 22, 12:00-1:00 pm, room TBD, Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile
This panel session will explore academic career paths, featuring speakers from a diverse range of institutions — from teaching-focused universities to research-intensive (R1) universities — and representing various roles and experiences within academia. The stated goal is to provide the audience with a more expansive view of what a successful career in academia can look like. We intend for this session to provide opportunities for Q&A and broad discussion, so the audience is encouraged to bring questions for the panelists.
